Song Receiver's Tip of the Week - December 12, 2011

Lead Your Sheep to Goodness

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life…

Psalm 23:6a NASB -

Just as we should receive and write from the King’s perspective concerning the hard times of life, we should also focus on what is good and right regardless of our circumstances. In other words, write from the good things life has bestowed upon you! If you receive good news concerning a certain area of your life, rejoice and write from that joy. If you are blessed with a good health report or a financial blessing, write from the joy it brings to your soul. If you have a specific prayer answered, write from the abundance of joy that floods your soul at such news. Always see life from God’s point of view. Write from what you have and not just from what you have lost. Attitude is everything…and our attitude should always be one of hope because we have a relationship with the Savior Who IS our hope…no matter what! -

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

Philippians 4:8 NASB

Hi Dennis
I too saw you on Sid Roth.
When I became a Christian many many years ago, someone blessed me with your CD TWCV1. Between you and another singer/song writer 'Joe King' I started to understand the love God has for me. From being in a place of little (if any) self worth, your music ministered deep into my soul restoring all what was lost.....(very hard to explain).
I just want to say 'Thankyou for your faithfulness'. You have played a major part in the person I am today.
Love
D

Thank you. This time of the year I often struggle with depression. There are too many old memories linked to my birthday and Christmas. I saw you on Sid Roth and found that programme extremely timely. It was so good I changed channels and watched it again. Since then I have found this site and explored the livestream videos. They have given me the soundtrack I have needed to help me get on with what I am supposed to be doing today. Thank you for providing these resources. Now I just have to work on the challenge of getting your CDs in the UK.

Right on! God is totally positive. It seems like the most effective sermons I preach are from the heart and out of the cry of my heart. Thanks for your ministry to me for many years. I still listen to the older songs and I am still ministered to.

Dear Dennis, I saw you on Sid Roth today. Coincidentally, I stayed home from work because of frustration and spiritual weariness and decided to turn on Sid's program while I flipped channels. I heard your songs. I began to weep. You sang about God saying he will use my failures. I've felt like a failure all my life. Even though I've seen God use me many times to speak into others lives. But lately, I've been paralyzed spiritually with anger, frustration, and unforgiveness. I know God has called me. I know what He's called me to; I can't seem to get it right. My eyes always seem to focus on how I failed and I feel as though I'm losing my way.
There's so much I would like to say but I'm sure you get many emails with people who want to talk with you.
I'm ordering your CD's in hope of Gods deliverance through your music. I'm tired of being me. I want to be Gods son. I don't know if you understand what I mean. So....I wait on God to minister to me through your songs. Sincerely,
Joseph May
