The recording I Cry Holy was recorded during 2006 and 2007 and was produced by Dennis Jernigan’s friend, veteran producer Mark Stocker. Jernigan’s desire for this recording was to use some of his personal favorites, many of which were up to 20 year’s old, but had simply never been recorded. DJ always hopes to fill each recording with songs that are easily accessible to the church yet challenging spiritually. I Cry Holy does not fail on either count.
Standout songs include the title track, I Cry Holy, the celebratory Let Us Rejoice, the uplifting You Are My King, and the powerful, hymn-like worship chorus Beautiful.
