You're That Man
There lives a rich man and a poorman, and it's here that the story began.
The poor man, he had nothing except this one little lamb.
He raised it up with his children and from his table was fed.
And became to him like a daughter and she followed whatever he led.
Well, the rich man threw a party and made the lamb a feast.
And the one who had the most took from the one who had the least!
Davd's anger greatly burned!
And he said, "This man must die!"
But as his judgement echoed, then the prophet Nathan cried,
"You're that man, David!
And the secrets are hard to keep!
You're that man, David!
And what you sow you will reap!"
Nathan says to David," You dug the pit and you've fallen right in!"
Covering up doesn't hide the fact that the Lord sees all of your sin!
And still, the Lord has chosen to take your sin away!
But you still have consequences!
The price that you will pay!
And all of those around you. the ones you hold so dear,
Will suffer your trangressions and will bring you many tears!'
To the Lord he cried for mercy!
To his heavenly Father he cried!
For the child which seemed the only good thing, by his judgement has died!
You're that man, David!
And the Lord sees all of your sin!
You're that man, David!
And He sees your heart from within!
You're that man, David!
And He's forgiven you this day!
You're that man, David!
And for what you've done someone pays!
