What inspired this song?

What boy doesn’t dream of slaying dragons
and winning battles? There have been many
emotional battles and mental battles and even
physical battles I have had to face in my life.
Rather than back down from the dragons in my
life, I decided to face them head on...and I’m
so glad I did! My personal battles with the
dragons of my life went into the writing of
this song. I had a blast writing and recording this one!
