Fly Away

My life is not normal! Called to share my testimony
in a day and age when culture is ruled by
upside-down thinking - right is wrong and
wrong is right - I often battle discouragement.
I know who and Whose I am so I will
continue to share in spite of what the
world says...and in spite of what the church says.
It is one thing to have the world come against
you but quite another to have the church
come against you! I am receiving more and
more pressure from people who want me to

just be quiet...and more and more pressure
from the church that maybe I’m wrong...maybe
it’s not sin...maybe I need to lighten up!
That juxtaposition is the new normal of my life.
Couple that with the goings-on of the past
few weeks and you can understand why I would
like to just fly away!
I had a film crew follow me for 10 days to
record my story for a feature-length
documentary...I taught at a conference...I
did 4 television interviews and two radio
interviews and then I hosted a retreat in
my home along with my wife - who is in this
thing with me (or I could not do it!).
As I prepared for the retreat
(The Next Generation Creative Institute),
this song began to be born for this group
of people - and for ME! Let us not forget
that we can fly away into God’s presence
any time we need to and under any
circumstances. WIth that as our Kingdom
Reality, what can man do to us?
What can the enemy do to us?
Join me in flying away. Do it often and do
it with passion. Do it in secret and do
it for all to see. Just fly away!
