Song Receiving Tip of the Week - August 8, 2011

Think Outside the Box

The moment we put God in a box, that is all we get of Him. Why would we ever want to limit Someone Who is utterly limitless? To limit God is to limit creativity! In the same regard, we need to take ourselves out of the boxes the enemy and his lies – and our wrong thinking – places us in. In Christ, you are a new creation. You are a child of the Most High God. You are a joint-heir with Christ. You are invited to partake of the feast of His presence and not relegated to sit beneath the table and settle for the crumbs of life. Who says you can’t write a movie score…or write a hit country song…or write the next great novel…or write a song that addresses something no one has thought to address before? You, as a child of God, must believe who He says you are and then receive it…and, most importantly, think, breathe, and live as a child of the King. It will greatly affect your ability to receive creatively from Father.

"With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God." Jesus

Mark 10:27 NASB

I'm believing in what Father says!!!!!
For the first time ever in my life, during a worship time @ church last year, the Lord 'dropped into my lap' lyrics: a verse and refrain; I was so amazed and pleased!!!! Normally, I'm more creative w/ colors & visuals ... so to have verse (& I want to put some music to it) received from Him is very precious!!!! Thank you, Dennis & team, for the work you do; the music & books over the past 10 or so years have been ministering deeply (healing personal/fam tragedy) to me, in His strength & tenderness. Praise to Him, and heartfelt thanks to you!

I just caught this on my facebook. I don't know why I've missed them before. I have a lot of reading to catch up on here. Yes, all things are possible WITH God but we often try to do most things ourselves and are not partnering with Him.
